Detboi

Detboi, producer/dj from dublin who start cutting his production teeth in the early 00's as the Xerox soundsystem with his production buddy speakertreatz, making cheeky cut ups and bootlegs, gaining recognition from mtv, erol alkan and soulwax!
 
The detboi sound draws from a various pool of musical inspirations, ranging from Early Uk 90s rave, jungle, ragga and hip hop whilst combining them with the bass heavy sound of today to give a rowdy 4/4 explosion of garage/Baltimore and bass!
 
Since his first ep dropped he has gained  praise from the major players of the scene in herve/sinden/annie mac and tervor loveys, getting played on the sound and sinden essential mix and various different radio plays.

His latest project are come rest up/jump up and down featuring the vocal talent of serocee and was called up to produce on the collaboration album machines don't care where he made tracks with herve, sinden and toddla T.
